After downloading BlueSSIS, simply run the installation .EXE and follow the simple instructions provided. Once the main setup process is complete, the toolbox items will be installed into Visual Studio,
where installed. If Visual Studio is open at this time you will be prompted to close it, and it is highly recommended that you do this in order to enable the toolbox items to be configured automatically.
If for any reason you do have to install the toolbox items manually, create a new SQL Server Integration Services project and open the control-flow surface of the new package. Then right-click in the toolbox, and select 'Add Tab'. Name your tab BlueSSIS. Then right-click on your new tab, and select Choose Items... This form can take some time to appear. Go to the
SSIS Control Flow Items tab, and check all items where the name begins with BlueSSIS.
Repeat for the SSIS Data Flow Items tab. At this stage we recommend you exit Visual Studio so your changes are persisted.
Once your toolbox items are installed, you are good to go - create a test
project, drag on some components from the toolbox and start playing, of course
consulting the online help for each component as required (normally accessible
directly from the component configuration form). If you get stuck, please
don't hesitate to contact
enquiries@bluehub.co.uk@.
If whilst using or evaluating BlueSSIS you encounter any problems at all, please don't hesitate to contact us at
